Outside the ground, it was a very laid back atmosphere with both sets of supporters mixing and no problems whatsover. Otherwise, alcohol is available inside the Loftus Road Stadium (albeit just bottles of Carlsberg at £5), although for some high profile games the Club opts not to sell any to visiting supporters.The nearest London Underground station is White City on the Central Line, which is about a five minute walk away.

Their close proximity to each other clearly prevents any sing or chanting because this only happened twice in 90 mins and one of those was when they stood to applaud Charlie Austin’s wonder goal mid-way through the first half.
I hardly ever drive to away games, so it was Brighton to Victoria on the train, underground to Hammersmith and change for Shepherds Bush Market, then to the front door of the Walkabout pub. As for the game it was one to forget for R's fans. This suddenly seems to have changed everything in terms of our end-of-season prospects, just like that. A rather underwhelming match and a bit of a poor ground means this is one away day I won't remember in a hurry.
Didn't use the facilities inside the stadium as it was tight for space, but went outside to the smoking area.

The concourse areas are extremely tight at Loftus Road. The stewards were friendly enough and there was a reasonable selection of food and drink available.

the MK Dons end was surprisingly very loud from one section of the supporters. 1,275 Preston fans certainly left happy and a lot of us with a renewed sense of (cautious) optimism. A short walk up Uxbridge Road, and the ground is signposted in big letters to turn on to Loftus Road. Not a lot of space inside the concourse so went straight to my seat as kick off time was nearing. There was a bit of trouble between QPR fans but it seemed to be in house and the police dealt with it swiftly.All in all, it was a very enjoyable outing (partly due to the result).

We arrived in Shepherd's Bush around 5pm, so we had a lot of time to kill before the match. There was a plentiful amount of places to eat there, as you can imagine. The concourse was very small and cramped, but the main problem was our performance.After finally working our way through the packed concourse, we caught a tube back into the city centre very easily, and we were back in London by 6:30.Great atmosphere and trip, but the performance and quality of the ground were lacking. As it was the FA Cup me and my friend decided to book tickets for the game in the MK Dons end.We got the train down from Leighton Buzzard to London and it was very easy.

Without being disrespectful, the concourse is really a glorified fire escape which is totally unfit for purpose. Be prepared to take off jackets and bags to be searched. Firstly the matchday programmes sold out, a first for me, meaning I had to end my 3 year run of contentious programme collecting at every Brentford game. Then a short walk from the coach station to Victoria underground then taking 2 trains to Shepherds Bush. After a couple of pints with both Albion and QPR fans (seemed a friendly bunch) we continued on to Loftus RoadSmall, compact and very close to the match.
