front of their home crowd.On the surface Latrell Mitchell looks to have burned his bridges with coach Brad Fittler and the Blues, after being axed following the first game of the 2018 series.Mitchell was ultimately cut from the team for failing to show the effort and desire required by the standards coach Fittler has set for his side.The Roosters’ dual premiership winner also created waves by suggesting his snub had something to do with he and Josh Addo-Carr and Cody Walker’s national anthem protest.However, Brad Fittler is too smart an operator to keep Mitchell out in the cold for too long and has made steps to repair the fractured relationship with the Rooster.At his peak Mitchell is arguably the best centre in the game and the Maroons genuinely fear coming up against him when he is fit and firing.The Broncos winger is set for a shift to fullback in 2020, with Anthony Milford to move back into the halves and Darius Boyd to play either centre or wing.That move will provide Isaako with an opportunity to shine in first grade, after he was originally brought to the club as a fullback option.The Broncos have arguably the most devastating forward pack in the competition, which will provide their backline with plenty of opportunities to score tries.The astute signing of Brodie Croft has the potential to give the side direction and allow Milford and Isaako to play off the cuff eyes up footy and dominate in broken play.Isaako is also a reliable goal-kicker and if the Broncos attack clicks he will have plenty of opportunities to not only score tries, but add the extra two as well.The Dragons underwent an end of season review following their second last placed finish in 2019, but the head coach curiously escaped much of the blame for the horror season.McGregor called on close friend Phil Gould to conduct the review, which resulted in a shake-up of the Dragons’ backroom and support staff.Now McGregor is the last piece of the former puzzle and if the Dragons start slowly in 2020 there won’t be any scapegoats left to shield the head coach.The signing of Trent Merrin has gone some way to plugging the hole left by the absence of Jack de Belin and the Dragons still boast a number of Origin stars in Ben Hunt, Corey Norman and Tariq Sims on their books.However the Dragons still look light on in the outside backs and are probably a forward or two short and if they go on a losing run early in the season, the club may finally lose patience with McGregor.Given both sides’ performances in 2019 it is not a stretch to see either one of them making it all the way to the big dance next season.However Des Hasler’s side handing Ricky Stuart his second consecutive grand final loss is a heartbreaking and bold call for Raiders fans.Hasler’s side looked set for a potential grand final berth in 2019, before they were robbed of their best player in Tom Trbojevic and if he can stay healthy the sky’s the limit next season.The Raiders have largely kept their grand final team in tact and have added Curtis Scott to an already devastating outside back contingent.If new halfback George Williams fires next to Jack Wighton the Raiders are in a strong position to go
