Alice in the Country of Hearts

TokyoPop licensed the manga for release in North America but were unable to release the last volume. The Country of Hearts is the first country discovered in the Alice series.

I just feel like it was overall lacking it should definitely give us some more character traits and things like that they kinda blur together except a few. The third volume of the manga was ranked 25th on the Tohan charts between June 8—14, 2009. I’m also a giant Alice in Wonderland fan. Nice art but the story is kind of a mess. She's brought to Wonderland against her wishes and forced into a game with no obvious rules. The country has the unusual property of changing the time of day seemingly sporadically. That being said I found this version off putting for several reasons. (I am not going to bother posting this on the other two omnibus volumes).Well I fell the story was lacking quite a bit in plot and I didn't really understand what was going on. How in the world will she manage that and still manage to stay alive? Her journey is even more complicated as the characters become increasingly obsessed with her.This was a very strange but also fascinating and amusing version of Alice In Wonderland.I really like this manga! Not sure how far I'll follow the series, but I'll read the next one.Educating myself a bit about manga while exploring an element of the Alice world that I've never considered.

The only storyline there seemed to be that Alice was taken to Wonderland against her will and she was trying to get back home, while everyone was being weird and claiming to fall in love with her. What bumped the story up from a four star is the incredible artwork! The game is a re-imagining of Lewis Carroll's classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Ed Sizemore enjoyed the "pretty-boy" artwork and enjoyed Alice's characterization, but felt that the rest of the cast's "psychotic" characterisation made it uncomfortable to read.Zack Davisson enjoyed the "suggestion that Alice is creating the fantasy world from her subconscious, and that the rules set are her own", and enjoyed the manga's treatment of the game's story.

Alice really just walked from one place to another and ended up in conversations with the characters in Wonderland. Alice is somewhere in between. I know AWL is supposed to be a crazy ride and truthfully I don't remember much of tge story. animated and live-action films featuring his story I have to admit there was not even one as close to craziness as this one.. Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch - Nunnally in Wonderland I started with My Fanatic Rabbit (a sort of sub-series from what I can tell) which resulted in me being unbelievably confused with the rest of the series, as it does not agree with almost anything in the main series. I really enjoyed it though. turning over on themselves, or in one particular scene, characters were in an elevator for ten minutes with little to no dialogue between them.
